Only Gay Guys Fancy Me

VICTORIA BECKHAM reckons straight blokes no longer eye her up – only gentlemen of the pink persuasion.

I bumped into Mrs Becks at the Dorchester Hotel in London yesterday and told her she was looking like a “yummy mummy” in a tiny summer skirt.

But the queen of the WAGs confessed that blokes don’t see her that way any more.

She told me: “All the men that like me are gay. It’s true. I have a really strong gaydar. I do love gay men though.”

I could argue that BECKS boils beyond metrosexual from time to time.

He isn’t shy of a spot of nail polish, the occasional sarong and a bit of body waxing. But he has fathered three more children than me.

This week the former England skipper is on manly Daddy duty while VB drives her fashion empire forward in the UK.

That’ll be a diet of McDonald’s, beans on toast and oven chips for the nippers until she gets back then.

Victoria has had a busy few weeks with her birthday celebrations, then the star-studded Met ball in New York last week.

But her new friendship with GEORGE CLOONEY, who I suggested to her might be slightly better looking than Becks, is nothing for the LA Galaxy star to worry about.

She added: “I have only just got to know George. He was so nice, a real gentleman and absolutely hilarious. He has a great sense of humour.

“But I think David is better looking than him. Definitely.”

It sounds like domestic bliss for the Beckhams in LA at the moment.

The kids, BROOKLYN, ROMEO and CRUZ, are clearly loving life in the States and Posh told me: “They are getting American accents. Brooklyn keeps saying ‘awesome’.”

They are also keeping their parents on their toes with a diary packed with ice hockey, soccer, break-dancing and gymnastics lessons.

Posh and Becks are even doing a shift in the school canteen, serving grub to the pupils.

She told me: “David and I are always in the school. We go and serve up hot lunches. It’s the same food we used to get at school — turkey twizzlers. I go on the school trips too.

“We turn up and get really hands-on. Romeo had to do ‘What my parents do’ day recently. We both sign up for everything at the school. We had a cake-baking day as well.

“They love it when Mummy and Daddy turn up to serve lunch. My parents do it and David’s mum has done it too. I’d rather go to Pumpkin Patch at school than dinner at the Ivy.

“I’m a seriously strict mum and David is a strict dad. The boys have good manners. It is really important they are good kids.”

Even so, youngest lad Cruz landed himself in hot water recently when he popped his middle finger up at photographers.

The wee man is turning into a real character, according to his mum — with a passion for dressing up.

Meanwhile Becks recently sorted a weekend away in Napa, California — famous for its fine wine — for Posh’s birthday.

He invited TOM CRUISE and KATIE HOLMES, SEAL and HEIDI KLUM and KATE BECKINSALE and LEN WISEMAN came for the tear-up.

She said: “We were talking about our favourite Cruise movies the other night. I love Top Gun. It has to be my favourite. Maverick sitting in the same room is pretty weird.

“It was a wild weekend. You know me, I don’t drink (she giggled) but it was a great weekend. They are such nice people.”

One thing the Beckhams won’t be doing this summer is going to the WAYNE ROONEY and COLEEN McLOUGHLIN wedding.

Posh explained: “No invite has come through, to be honest. David obviously knows Wayne through England but they probably know David is playing all through the summer in LA.

“He will be working. We are not going on holiday, we won’t be going to the house in France and I wouldn’t go to the wedding without David. I am sure it will be great. She has really good taste.

“All the England wives are nice — I just don’t really socialise with them. I have more kids than them. Coleen has always been really sweet.”

Tomorrow Victoria has a big launch for her new denim range at Harrods.

A mum, a fashion designer and a part-time dinner lady. What a woman.

Julia Roberts's New Posh Friend

E! Online has speculated Julia Roberts and new Los Angeles-regular Victoria Beckham aka Posh Spice to be great friends soon.

The two stars supposedly "got along famously" at the Metropolitan Museum of Art?s Costume Institute Gala this past Monday. The fabulous soccer wife has already taken Hollywood by storm as she befriends A-list celebrities such as Eva Longoria Parker and Tom Cruise. A source close to both Roberts and Becks told E! that the duo hit it off right away ... showing each other photos of their kids. They were just laughing and sharing mommy stories.

I hear the Oscar winner and Posh Spice got along famously at the Costume Institute Gala in New York City on Monday night. "They hit it off right away," a source close to the new pals tells me. So much so that it wasn't long before the two moms were sharing family pictures. "They were showing each other photos of their kids," my source says. "They were just laughing and sharing mommy stories."

Mrs. Becks certainly has made herself at home in Hollywood. Roberts is just the latest addition to an A-list roster of friends that already includes Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, Eva Longoria Parker and Kate Beckinsale.

Victoria to be in the Alan Partridge film?

Victoria Beckham is set to star in the new ‘Alan Partridge’ movie.

The Spice Girl, who is desperate to make it as an actress, has reportedly signed up to play Steve Coogan’s assistant Lynn in the big-screen adaptation of the hit British TV show, based around the mishaps of radio DJ Alan.

A source told Britain’s Daily Star newspaper: “The Partridge film has been in pre-production for an age. One reason was because they couldn’t agree on Lynn.

“Felicity Montagu, who played Lynn in the TV series, doesn’t want to go to Hollywood and the film’s backers decided they wanted a big name to replace her.

“It was also important to them to have a Briton and someone with a sense of fun.”

Victoria – who lives in Los Angeles with her soccer star husband David and their three sons – impressed bosses with her humour and is prepared to ditch her usual glamorous image for the dowdy role.

The source added: “Victoria is a big name but no one expected her to have such a rapier-like wit. She’s game to frump up for the role, too. She was practising her hangdog grimace to David the other day. It was cracking him up.”

Last year, Victoria made a guest appearance in hit US TV show ‘Ugly Betty’, playing Wilhelmina Slater's bridesmaid, and was very well liked by all the cast.

America Ferrera - who plays geeky editorial assistant Betty Suarez - said the singer was willing to be humiliated and happily poked fun at her public image.

She said: "She was wonderful. She definitely came with the right attitude. If you're not willing to be humiliated then you don't belong on our show."
